Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the Vribond range, ordering and dealership.

Quick answers to the most common questions we get from factory buyers, joinery workshops and dealers. Cannot find your answer? Write to hello@vribond.com.

Which glue should I use for interior furniture?

For most interior joinery, edge-glueing and panel assembly, D3 Glue is the standard choice. It gives a strong bond with good open time and light water resistance. For laminated benchtops or door frames that see repeated moisture, step up to D4 Glue.

What is the difference between D3 and D4?

D3 is water-resistant – suitable for interior and occasionally damp areas (kitchens, bathrooms). D4 is waterproof and structural – suitable for exterior joinery, windows, doors and any wet-service application. Both meet EN 204 classification.

When do I need PUR Glue?

Choose PUR when you need the highest bond strength or need to bond difficult substrates (oily hardwoods, composites, mixed materials) or need chemical and heat resistance. PUR cures with atmospheric moisture and gives a permanent structural bond.

What is the coverage of a 1 kg pack?

Coverage depends on substrate and application method, but as a guide 120-180 grams per square metre with a notched spreader. A 1 kg pack covers 5-8 sqm of edge-glueing or 25-35 running metres of a 30 mm bead. Confirm on your material.

What is the shelf life?

Typical shelf life is 12 months from manufacture in unopened original packaging, stored between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius, out of direct sunlight. Batch-specific expiry is printed on every pack.

Do you supply samples?

Yes, we send paid samples for evaluation. Request via the Contact form with your product interest, substrate and quantity needed.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the product and pack size. Small orders (single 20 kg carton) are possible for evaluation. For regular supply, factory-direct pricing starts at pallet quantities. Request a quote via the Contact form.

Do you supply pan-India?

Yes, from our Haryana warehouse we supply across India through direct dispatch and authorised regional dealers. Lead time is typically 3-7 working days depending on destination.

How do I become a Vribond dealer?

Apply through the Dealers page. We evaluate territory, existing wood-industry distribution and creditworthiness. Response within 5 working days.

Are your products certified?

Our D3 and D4 glues are formulated to meet EN 204 water-resistance classes. Batch certificates are provided on request. We are working on additional third-party certifications – see Downloads for the current list.

Do you provide a TDS and SDS?

Yes, both are available on request. Email hello@vribond.com with the product name and application; our technical team sends the PDF within 24 hours.

Can I use Vribond glue on plywood, veneer and MDF?

Yes, our range covers all common wood-based substrates. Match the product to the exposure: D3 for interior/occasional damp, D4 for wet-service, PUR for structural or difficult substrates. Contact us for a substrate-specific recommendation.
